Serial#116261 (circa 1905). New New York Steinway whippens and hammers, Hamburg Renner shanks and flanges.  New leather backchecks, keyframe felts, and damper felts. New hard rock maple pinblock. New Steinway strings and nickel plated tuning pins.  Natural (white keys) are original ivory in pristine condition. Sharps are original ebony, refinished.  Keys are rebushed, both rails, and new keyend felt installed.  Soundboard and bridges were hand stripped and refinished.  Cast iron plate was stripped and refinished.  The case was professionally refinished by Classic Piano Refinishers of Chicago in a high gloss mahogany finish.  The trapwork and lyre were rebuilt as original.  All hardware was nickel plated as original in a high polish finish.  Nothing was missed on this fine instrument.  NOT YOUR TYPICAL STORE REBUILD.  The piano has been regulated, tuned and voiced.  A stunning piano and a great playing instrument as well.  Rebuild just finished August 2008.
