He said he has a widow friend with a brand new looking 1957 Gibson Les Paul TV Special with all the tags and case candy, needs a roof and wants to sell. I drive 14 hours and meet him in the parking lot of a Ruby Tuesdays in Indiana with a cashier's check. So I open the case, look at the guitar, and I pay the man, and drive the car and the guitar back home to R.I. I am now ready to offer this amazing condition TV to you. Without a doubt, the cleanest early 1957 LP TV Special available anywhere at this time. Pots date 1st week of 1957, so this is an early 1957 model. SN 7 2108 The color is full, lush, and is a bit more toward mustard color than the limed wheat TV color of 1956. This guitar looks like it was played maybe 10 or 15 times ever. Check the picture of the fingerboard and frets... no wear at all in the first 5 positions. No shrinkage anywhere. Looks perfect. Neck rear has no wear at all. Finish is slightly checked. All paint is still full, and shiny, and rich looking. Check the head... no dings. Check the pickup poles... no rust. Neck is perfect and straight and plays perfectly all the way up.
